Research Specialization: Modern Japanese philosophy (especially the Kyoto School), environmental ethics, and philosophy of technology
Inutsuka Yu is Associate Professor at Nagoya Institute of Technology and Research Associate at the Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture. She received her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Information Studies from the University of Tokyo. Her research examines ethical issues concerning environment and technology through the lens of modern Japanese philosophy, focusing on the works of Watsuji Tetsurō, Nishida Kitarō, and other Kyoto School philosophers.
