Specialization: Logic and Philosophy of Physics, Methods of Scientific Knowledge, Representational Spaces in Art and Science

The research covers a cross-disciplinary field that brings together philosophy, science, and art. It is primarily concerned with the foundations of quantum physics, with a particular interest in the impact of quantum interference and complex numbers on the notion of computability. Following these lines of inquiry, quantum theory—with its complex representation space— pens up several topics and problem areas for further investigation, including forms of scientific and artistic representation, visual geometry, productive seeing, and spacetime observables. More recently, it has been complemented by a comparative study between Eastern and Western ways of understanding “objective reality.”
