Research Specialization: Visual Studies, Heideggerian Phenomenology, Philosophy of Technology, Contemporary Aesthetics

I am an assistant professor and researcher at University of Osijek in Croatia, Art History Department where I teach courses in Photography and Visual Culture, Visual Studies and New Image Theories and Elements of Visual Culture and Art in Japan, among others. This project studies influences between Japanese traditional and popular culture as well as Western modernity, in particular through the lens of Walter Benjamin's Arcades Project.
