In the streets leading to Ishikiri Shrine 石切神社 in eastern Osaka during the 1980s there were many healers and diviners with stalls and many places selling herbal remedies and folk medicines. In more recent times these have virtually disappeared, to be replaced by fortune tellers. There appear to be few if any healers, from my last visits in 2011 and 2012. (1/2)
