Specialization: Nishida Kitarō (research and French translation)
Jacynthe Tremblay (Ph.D., science of religion) is a specialist in the philosophy of Nishida Kitarō (1870-1945). Until now, she has fully translated into French the six books by Nishida written between 1927 and 1935, as well as two collections of essays. In addition, she has published eight books where she explains Nishida’s philosophy in great detail. Three of these books are literary creations (one in the form of a philosophical autobiography, the other two in the form of dialogues with Nishida) which aim to make his thought more accessible to a general readership.
