Specialization: Philosophy of Religion in France and French Cultural-Sphere, Life and Death Studies, Inter-Religious Dialogue

My main  research  subject is Christian faith and life after death from the point of view of Paul Ricoeur's  philosophy in the last years of his life, in particular the impact between his local education in Brittany (especially in the Gallo-French-speaking region) and his early philosophy and on the philosophy of religion in France and the Switzerland. My recent research compares Japanese Thanatolology and Inter-religious Dialogue. Previously, I lived in France for 17 years, 8 of which were spent teaching Japanese language and culture at a university in Brittany. I also coordinated a Japanese program using the narrative method of Kanji.
